Canson

Fine art paper is professional quality paper for printing photographs and artworks, it is composed of natural fibres.

When should I print on fine art paper?

Normal photo paper can meet the needs of some users when it comes to printing photos to be viewed on an occasional basis, whereas fine art paper will ensure that images and artworks are shown off in their best light and provides good performance when exhibiting prints and reproductions.

Do we offer Photo Rag?

Yes, yes we do! These are both our Hahnemuhle and Canson papers.

We also print using the Giclee Process.

What is the Giclee process you ask?

Simply, a giclee is a fine art print created by using a specialized high resolution inkjet printer. Here at Plan Scan we use a 12 colour ink process. Yes, a giclee is in fact an “art print” but giclee prints stand apart with their extremely high level of quality, longevity and value compared to a standard print.
